Sunday, February 19th at 10:00am
Spend your afternoon, in HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, on our family property with two young homesteaders, passionate about growing food & excited to empower you to do the same. Learn about the various techniques & practices used during the first year building our farm. After the tour, stay to enjoy home-grown, delicious, organic food. Our goal is to share information for a better quality of life and establish a meaningful connection with our community.
We will walk through our homestead going over the various aspects of what it takes to run a small, manageable garden. This is an open environment to explore sustainability, permaculture, homesteading & self development. Some of the topics we will cover: edible plants, food forestry, irrigation design, compost systems, water harvesting, nursery management & more. This a conversation with the opportunity to ask plenty of questions.
